Comfort Suites University

I checked in the night of 7/6. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely friendly! The lady working overnight was amazing. I made my way downstairs a few times. She was always present and friendly. She mopped and kept the lobby clean and presentable. I worked 10+ years in a hotel and could never find a night auditor as proactive and efficient as her. I hope her hard work does not go unnoticed! Overall the hotel was clean. Could use more focus on the bathroom area. Overall great service. Nice hotel. Clean. Good breakfast. Convenient location.

This is a comfort suites not the Ritz Carlton. That being said, my room was clean, I was greeted with a smile, and the breakfasts was good. I will stay here again next time I'm in Lubbock.

5/5 stars!!!! My friend and I visited overnight and it was very pleasant! The pool was perfect, hot tub was relaxing! I love that they have refreshing water with lemons in it! The staff was sweet, and breakfast was delicious!! Everything about our stay was what I would want in a mini-vacation it made me want to stay longer will definitely visit again!

Great experience. Cost was way less than expected and room was actually serviced every day not just the 1 time a week I've been accustomed to at hotels

This hotel has pros and cons. I gave it 4 stars because I paid $60 a night (close enough to the holidays, I thought it would be more) so I feel like I can’t really complain that much paying such a low price. Let’s start with the pros: huge rooms and bathrooms, beds are comfortable, fridge and microwave in room, decent location, lobby is pretty nice, decent parking, free breakfast and WiFi. The cons are: the carpet in the hallway and downstairs areas that are carpeted is filthy! They really need to get their carpet steamed. Our rooms were *decently* clean but there was some hair in the shower area. I don’t like that. The pull out couch had a sock in it…gross! Like I said I paid $60 so I feel like I can’t really complain that much. The rooms are BIG and really pretty. Nice amenities. The front desk lady who checked us in took her sweet time and also wasn’t very friendly, but we did come in late. I would suggest this hotel to focus a bit more on cleaning and it would make it a lot more comfortable and pleasant stay! If I could be assured this hotel would take the proper measures to clean a little more prior to my next stay, I would stay here again! I’m pretty picky so overall it was a decent stay. I’ve seen better and worse. I wouldn’t pay full price for this hotel.

Spacious suites, clean and comfortable beds, clean bath, overall a clean facility, plenty of parking on a Wednesday night. I did not have any problems checking in and check out is at 12pm! The room is nicely decorated, clean carpet. There’s a coffee maker, a microwave and a mini fridge in the room, toiletries and plenty of towels in the bathroom. Breakfast was great with plenty of options, including scrambled eggs, yummy sausages, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, instant oatmeal, fruit, muffins, toast and bagels, yogurt, juice, hot tea and coffee. Kudos to Debbie who made sure there was plenty of everything. The only thing I didn’t find so great was some dirt spots on the couches in the room, but other than that everything was great. I got a great price directly at the hotels website and I recommend checking that before making your reservation somewhere else. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Great experience! Rooms were reasonably priced, and good value for money. Our suite was the same price as a standard room, and the couch was a pullout bed, so this meant that both kids could have their own bed. Beds were comfy (pillows a little lumpy, but perfectly fine). Bedside table had USB for charging and bedside lights had reading lights (really nice!). Full cable TV. Workout room was equipped with all you need for a travel workout (light weights, modern treadmill, etc). Happy hour provided a free beverage from 5 to 7, and breakfast the next morning was great! Hot breakfast has eggs, sausage, biscuits w/gravy and waffles. Cold breakfast had the usual cereal, toast, yogurt, bagels, etc. Clean, well maintained and delicious. Staff was kind and courteous, even to my kids. Thanks Comfort Inn! We’ll definitely stay again.

I've been to more than my fair share of hotels since I love to travel (I promise I'm not a street walker...), this one definitely stood out. Pretty quiet place, not a lot of loitering around the place. The pool was nice, the rooms were clean and staff were polite!
